Bank lotteries in 60's

In early 60's according to military coup advertising, economics and even production was not seems as good as 50's. It would be same anywhere in the world, if people out of money the most popular ads will be banks ads. Readers always saw those types of ads in newspapers in the past, but first few years of 60's was the climax of the bank lotteries which gives amount of money, car or house. I think it could be in relation with fluctuation of the economics in that period of time. Because before the military coup, in the Democrat Party government, per capita income was scaled up to 414 dollars. It was 194 dollars in 1951 and Democrat Party was elected in 1950. But after military coup per capita income was again decreased to the 194 dollars in 1961.
